A New Blog

Writing a new blog always feels a bit like starting the first page of a brand new journal. You have a whole set of blank pages in front of you, just waiting for your story... and there you sit, terrified you are going to ruin it all by writing something stupid. That is why, in all of my years of keeping a journal, I have never gone in any page order. Starting in the middle of a journal somehow seems much less threatening to me than staring at a blank crisp page at the beginning. Well, blogs don't have a middle page. So, here is to hoping I don't write anything stupid and ruin it all. 
I'm writing this blog as a venture into keeping track of every wedding and event that I do this year. To "do" is a shorter way of saying that I, Hannah Rose, will be arranging locally grown, organic and seasonal flowers from Full Belly Farm for weddings in and around the Capay Valley. So far, there are thirteen weddings and seven events for 2015 and that number is growing fast. I plan on writing about the planning, planting, designing, arranging, growing, delivering, clipping and deconstructing process. I am new to this. I am scared. And I really have no idea what I am doing. So, I think I'll let the flowers do most of the talking, I have found they are better at it than me anyway.
